IPVC 2024 Travel Grants & Awards

We are pleased to have a number of travel and registration grants, scholarships and awards available for participants and presenters at IPVC 2024.  

Details on awards, criteria and how to apply may be found below.

IPVS Travel Scholarships for Low and Lower-Middle-Income Countries (LLMIC)

Supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

  • Healthcare or allied health professional, or research scientist
  • Work address in an LLMIC Country, as per (World Bank Classification)
  • Your CV, cover letter explaining why participating in IPVC 2024 will benefit you, and support letter from your department head/ supervisor
  • No membership requirement
  • Priority will be given to abstract presenters.
  • Waived registration
  • 1-year IPVS Membership
  • 5 nights’ hotel
  • And Travel Allowance *(as per policy)

  • Early Career Researcher*
  • Work address in an LLMIC Country, as per (World Bank Classification)
  • Accepted abstract presenter
  • No membership requirement
  • Priority will be given to abstract presenters and highest rated abstracts
  • Waived registration            *or

*The level of funding and the number of recipients is dependent on the amount of donations received.

Priority will be given to presenters accepted for oral communication and from European countries with lowest GNI per capita
  • Waived Registration
  • Up to 250 GBP for travel
  • 4 nights’ hotel

Travel Grants for Indigenous Early Career Researchers
  • Early Career Researcher*
  • Accepted abstract presenter.
  • (N. America) USA or Canada
Priority will be given to Presenters accepted for oral communication and highest rated abstracts
  • Waived Registration
  • Up to 1100 GBP for travel
  • 4 nights’ hotel
