Getting to the venue

Citizens from over 90 countries and territories can enter Thailand without a visa, for tourism, business, urgent work, or ad-hoc work for up to 60 days. However, we strongly recommend that you verify your visa requirements with your local Thai Embassy or check the Official Thai E-Visa Website HERE for more information.

 

To apply for your visa, it is best to do so at least 60 days before the conference.

An official personalized letter of invitation will be provided to registered participants as part of the registration procedure. This invitation is prepared solely for the purpose of visa applications and is not a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide any financial support or confirmation of inclusion in the Scientific Program. Invitation letters can be provided electronically (PDF) or as a hard copy if required. Hard copies will be mailed via regular post free of charge. In case of special delivery (courier) request, the participant will be responsible for all charges.

To benefit from reduced registration rates, you have to be in good standing for paid membership during the Conference.

Participants are advised to wear business casual for all Congress functions and programs.

We want you to enjoy a safe experience while attending any IPVS Conferences. While IPVS continues to recommend people are up to date on COVID-19 vaccination, attendees of IPVS 2025 are not required to be vaccinated or verify vaccination status. In addition, masks are optional for IPVS 2025, and prior antigen testing is not required. Nevertheless, any participant with symptomatic respiratory illness should refrain from attending the conference in-person and remain isolated until fully recovered.

 

IPVS continues to encourage attendees to practice safe infection prevention measures to stop the spread of COVID-19 and any other infectious diseases, by maintaining social distancing, testing when appropriate, taking recommended actions when symptomatic or having tested positive. Wearing of a mask is appropriate and a personal choice as some individuals maybe immunocompromised and others maybe asymptomatically infected. We will continue to follow best practices of infection prevention as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and abide by any legal mandates and recommendations from government officials in the location of any SOCIETY meeting. These protocols and information are subject to change.

 

Please note, even with safeguards and the IPVS’s overarching commitment to attendee wellness, there remains a risk of contracting COVID-19 and other diseases.

All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibit hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.

Please do not leave bags or suitcases unattended at any time, whether inside or outside the session halls. Hotels strongly recommend that you use their safety deposit boxes for your valuables.

 

The IPVS 2025 Conference Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
