Instructions for Poster Presenters

IPVC 2020 postponed to July 20-24, 2020

The majority of submitted abstracts at the 33rd International Papillomavirus Conference will be available in the poster format. We encourage all delegates to visit poster area in the exhibition during breaks and designated poster networking hours.

Abstracts selected for poster will not have a designated date and time for the presentation.

All posters will be on display on March 24 – 27 during exhibition opening hours.

It is strongly recommended to stand by your poster during coffee and lunch breaks and at designated poster networking times for informal discussions and sharing views and knowledge. Snacks and drinks will be served.


Posters Hanging Hours

You are invited to mount your poster on March 24, between 10:00 – 10:30 to allow delegates to view your poster during coffee and lunch breaks throughout the Conference.

Posters must be removed by 16:30 on March 27. The organizers are not responsible for any posters that have not been removed by this time.

There will be Poster Help Desk in the exhibition area to provide any assistance. Double-sided tape will be available in the poster area for hanging of posters.

Please check the Conference app, program book or the Poster Help Desk onsite for the board number on which you should place your poster.


Posters Preparation

Orientation: PORTRAIT.

Poster size: 90 cm wide x 120 cm high. (Portrait style).

Poster board size: 1 m width x 2.5 m height. It is recommended that your poster is no larger than 90 cm wide x 120 cm high. (Portrait style).

Preparation: Posters may be prepared on one sheet (preferred method) or alternatively on several smaller sheets.

Please print a poster and bring it with you to the venue. Unfortunately, there will be no on-site print opportunity.


  1. Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract.
  2. The text, illustrations, etc should be bold enough to be read from a distance of two meters.
  3. You may use a template that can be downloaded here.
